Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center Mission
Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center is a Christ-centered, biblically-based ministry whose mission is to promote God’s plan for crisis pregnancies, relationships, marriage, the sanctity of human life and healing for those who have experienced abortion.
Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center Vision
Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center is committed to:
- Building awareness in our community regarding the value and sacred nature of human life in all stages of development.
- Working with women, men and their families in crisis pregnancies to find God-honoring ways to deal with their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
- Assisting single parents to find God-honoring ways to deal with their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, and those of their children.
- Educating young people in our community to value sexual abstinence in their lives, reserving sexual activity to marriage.
- Aiding and assisting women and men who have experienced abortion in their own lives to find forgiveness, comfort and peace within themselves and with God through Jesus Christ.

The Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center was established in 1999 in response to an ever-growing need in our community for a caring and compassionate resource for those facing crisis pregnancies, abortion recovery, abstinence issues, the challenges of being a single parent, and more.
With the support of the local community, a knowledgeable and caring staff, and a group of truly outstanding volunteers, the Center's ministry has continued to grow. Today, the Center is able to provide free and confidential one-on-one support for women, men, teens and families…when they need it most.
For those who are pregnant or think they might be, Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center offers:
- Free pregnancy tests
- A compassionate ear and accurate information for women and teens facing unplanned pregnancies
- Confidential, one-on-one support so those facing unplanned pregnancies can make an informed choice
For those who have experienced abortion, Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center offers:
Confidential and compassionate abortion recovery counseling.
Staff listen first, then offer solutions to help the clients cope with the emotions and life changes that often surface after an abortion.
Through one-on-one confidential sessions and support group activities, staff help clients find their way back to a healthier, happier life.
For teens facing tough choices about sex, Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center offers:
Abstinence education for teenagers. Through Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center's ministry at the high school, youth groups, and one-on-one support, the Center offers teens accurate and up-to-date information to help them make the choices which will be right for their lives.
For those coping with the unplanned loss of a pregnancy, Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center offers:
Compassionate support, counseling, and referral services for those who have suffered miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant death.
For single mothers or mothers-to-be in need of assistance, Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center can provide:
Diapers
Maternity and baby clothes
Formula
Baby furniture
Parenting education and more
