Pastor M.A. Daniel

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)

Pastor M.A.Daniel is the founder and president of New Covenant Ministries, registered in September 1992 under the "Registration of Societies Act XXI of 1860," in South India.
Making Disciples
Winning souls for Jesus Christ in a land dominated by Hinduism is not an easy task, but by God’s strength, native missionaries sponsored by New Covenant Ministries (NCM) are meeting the challenge. Caring for India’s spiritual and social needs since 1990, the NCM is an indigenous and independent organization completely supported by interested individuals and churches.
Besides the central task of evangelism and planting churches in India, NCM is involved in ministering to a poverty stricken society. The work includes educational development for children and youth, medical care, management of orphanages, providing food and care for needy children and widows, and helping farmers start on the road to financial independence.
Evangelism
The people of India worship many different gods, including idols and any number of animals, plants and other objects. NCM’s main purpose is introducing those lost in darkness to Jesus Christ, the one True Light.
India’s government has officially closed the country to foreign missionaries. The only real opportunity for the message of Christ to be heard is for native missionaries to carry it to their own people. They don’t need to be trained in languages and the culture of India, so it is a cost-effective way to share the Gospel.
NCM missionaries evangelize their native land through street preaching, mass rallies and other time-tested methods. Sharing the Bible and Jesus Christ with the children of India is an important focus point for NCM.
Church Planting Ministry
A vital part of the ministry of NCM is planting new churches. More than fifteen churches have been planted since 1990. The work will continue as Christianity advances in India.
Orphanage Ministry Picture
Pastor Daniel’s father and mother were Christians, but they didn’t know the Lord as personal Savior. His father was a schoolteacher, but he lost him when he was an eight-month-old baby. Thereafter, he was sent to a German support orphanage for his studies. There were many orphans like him in their churches, so Pastor Daniel started an orphanage and Christian school. Individuals can adopt one of the orphans there at the orphanage.
Widows and Aged
In India, most widows and elderly people are neglected by society and are without hope. The ministry has been caring for more than thirty elderly men and women and provides food and clothing to widows.
Sewing Project
This project provides teaching and materials for a Christian person to establish a livelihood for a lifetime. NCM purchases a pedal powered sewing machine and fabric; they then arrange a workspace and instruction. Their long-range desire is to teach others how to teach others.
Goat Project
Helping the poor of India get on their feet economically is a major objective of the goat project. The ministry provides goats to needy people, who then learn to raise goats to be given to another needy family.
The Need
New Covenant Ministries is totally dependent on God providing for its financial needs through believers in India and abroad who share a mutual concern for the ministry. As God supplies the resources and the direction, the ministry is raising funds for several large projects that will prove to be good investments for many years and which will support the various ministries. Would you prayerfully consider becoming involved in one or more of the above on-going special needs?
Building a self-sufficient ministry in rural villages is a slow, on-going process. Your financial help can be used fully and directly for immediate needs or for long-term projects.
How To Give Financially:
Would you prayerfully consider being part of God’s work in India through New Covenant Ministries? At NCM they believe the Lord will provide for all their needs in His time, in His way. We ask that you lift up in prayer NCM and all Christians throughout India.

May 2007 Update:
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Once again I do appreciate your prayers for New Covenant Ministries here in India. We are all doing well by God's grace through your prayers. All pastors and their families and the boys from from the home recently had an open air gospel campaign in one of the villages. We did the procession in the village handing out gospel tracts to over a thousand. In the month of April there were two young men who were baptized.
The boys from home finished their final year ending exams and all did well. We are waiting for their results. All the ministry pastors and the elders are praying for the girls' home also. If it is God's will we wish to start the home for girls. In India girls face lots of problems. Please pray for the need.
We have a great need about school, because I have put a slab for five more rooms and the bathrooms for the school. I need your prayers about this project.
Please pray for our good health
Yours in His service,
Pastor M.A. Daniel
